I am actively involved in teaching on the University of Birmingham Public Health MPH programme. I have supervised seven MPH dissertations to completion.

I currently supervise six PhD students at the University of Birmingham. I have supervised one PhD to completion.

Projects I supervise are across global surgery, sustainability in healthcare, and health systems research.
